Mrs. Galavotti has accrued more than twenty years of experience in environmental engineering in both an industrial manufacturing setting and as a consultant. She was responsible for the environmental department at two industrial sites for International Paper as well as handling regulatory affairs and on-site compliance issues.
She is also familiar with multimedia permitting issues and real-world application of designs. She worked as an operator and engineer at a 1.2 MGD process/wastewater treatment plant and operated 25 acres of wastewater lagoons and sprayfields.
Mrs. Galavotti leads the industrial compliance group for Shield including; performing site visits, file reviews, attending inspections, completing applications, auditing and negotiating violations with the appropriate agencies.
