Mrs. Clasen joined Shield Environmental Associates, Inc. as a Geologist in November 2015 and attained her Professional Geologist license in Kentucky and Indiana in 2021.    

 

Mrs. Clasen has accrued 11 years of experience performing soil, groundwater, and soil vapor site investigations for leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Connecticut. She also has 5 years of project management experience for LUST sites in Kentucky and Indiana.

 

Additionally, she has experience preparing Site Investigation Work Plans, Remedial Action Plans, Corrective Action Implementation Reports, SPCC Plans, and Phase 1 and Phase Environmental Site Assessments.

Oversight and Project Management of various LUST sites including High-Resolution Site Characterizations involving ultra-violet optical screening tool (UVOST) and Membrane Interface/Hydraulic Profiling Tool (MiHPT), In-situ biological treatments, soil over-excavations, dual-phase extraction, and monitoring well installations at sites throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois.
