Dr. Knauss served as Managing Principal-in-Charge of a multidisciplined environmental office for a large international consulting firm for over 9 years.
Dr. Knauss served as the President and Managing Principal of Shield Environmental Associates, Inc. for over 12 years. He has 40+ years of experience as a Project Director; Project Manager; and Principal Investigator on large, multidisciplinary environmental projects including air, surface and ground water, geology, terrestrial and aquatic ecology, risk assessments, socio-economics, noise, and health and safety.
